In the past decade, rising food safety incidents have created lower consumer trust in food manufacturers, while regulatory supervision on food safety has intensified. In order to guarantee food safety and compliance to quality and safety system standards, food manufacturers must establish appropriate food safety management system in response to national regulatory procedures and restore consumer confidence towards increasing market competitiveness and manufacturers’ profits. The strict food safety management system must cover material selection, production technology, food packaging, logistics, warehousing and all other procedures for food manufacturers to face huge safety and quality challenges.

More important, the forum aims to enhance China enterprises’ position and competitiveness in the global market.
