Autodesk 2011 Digital Prototyping Software

Zoofitech, an integrated supply chain solution provider, announced its partnership with Autodesk, a provider of 3D design software for manufacturing, building, construction, engineering and entertainment to market Autodesk's extensive educational solutions across the KSA market. Zoofitech will be working closely with Autodesk to help widen its scope further across education institutions within the Kingdom - through an established network of Autodesk authorised Value Added Resellers (VARs).

The main objective of the recent partnership is in line with Autodesk's regional brand strategy and commitment to KSA's education sector, allowing institutions to benefit greatly from the education programs and initiatives from Autodesk. The unique programs will enable the 'next generation' of architects, engineers and digital artists to address and embark upon the current and future professional and societal challenges.

"Our long term partnership of over fifteen years with Autodesk proves our commitment to support the education sector in KSA. We are very much looking forward to working closely with education institutes across the Kingdom, offering students the opportunity to work with credible design solutions from an innovative brand," explained Ahmed Al- Khudair, general manager, Zoofitech.

"For nearly 20 years, we have delivered solid product support and services on behalf of our customers, working together to achieve successful results. We are proud to be a part of Saudi's dynamic expansion within the education sector and are looking forward to being one of the driving factors for this growth," added Al-Khudair.

Kamal Othman, country manager Autodesk KSA, commented, "We are very excited about our partnership with Zoofitech. Autodesk has a long history of collaboration that is widely recognised and reputable by educational institutions and educators worldwide. The Autodesk Education Program aims to enable the next generation of architects, engineers, and digital artists to address current and future professional and societal challenges and we believe that our partnership with Zoofitech will allow students and educators to leverage Autodesk leading design solutions in manufacturing, building, construction, engineering, and entertainment."

"Autodesk design software, curricula, and teaching resources support the advancement of design and engineering education. We provide the technology and tools that support industry trends practiced by professionals around the world, such as digital prototyping, building information modelling (BIM), digital entertainment creation, sustainable design, and interdisciplinary collaboration," added Othman.

The Saudi market is in its boom stage of building and operating a large number of education institutes across the Kingdom, with the Saudi government placing a heavy focus across ongoing initiatives for the education sector. In the 2011 budget alone, the Saudi government allocated $40 billion for its education sector, and almost $68 billion for the new construction and completion of existing projects.

Zoofitech offers a strong channel partner network across the region to deliver the highest level of service to customers - working closely with its channel partners across promotion, demonstration and installation, through to direct support and training for Autodesk products and solution offering.
