3D printed parts used at BASF facilities

BASF did not only establish a new subsidiary, BASF 3D Printing Solutions, to explore opportunities in Additive Manufacturing, but also started using 3D-printed spare parts at their own chemical plants.  Adapting conventional designs to additive manufacturing designs has allowed BASF to 3D-print parts in a very short time and increase efficiency of the whole chemical process.
