Henkel Adhesive Technologies to leverage INCIT’s tools and frameworks to accelerate digital transformation

The International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) has welcomed the Henkel business unit Adhesive Technologies into its partner network, through the signing of an agreement to participate in INCIT’s membership programme. Henkel is the first company to join INCIT’s membership programme, following the inclusion of multiple governments.

Adhesive Technologies operates over 150 plants globally and employs about 25,000 people worldwide. In 2022, the Operations and Supply Chain organisation committed to accelerating its digital transformation and set up the new global Digital Operations function (AOD) in Singapore to drive this. As part of pushing the needle on digital transformation, AOD will focus on realising value from digital.

As part of this partnership, Adhesive Technologies will gain access to innovation and collaboration platform ManuVate; tools and frameworks related to the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI); thought leadership platform GETIT, and more.

INCIT’s tools and frameworks will enable Henkel to: benchmark its performance against its peers and competitors; develop clear roadmaps that will help achieve its digital transformation goals in a purposeful, structured and progressive manner; solve root cause problems hindering its digital transformation journey; participate in the ManuVate innovation process and create a use case database to support the development of Industry 4.0 digital solutions; and expand its Industry 4.0 intelligence and aspirations to better support the Henkel community.

The International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) is an independent, non-government, non-profit organisation focused on accelerating the transformation of the global manufacturing industry. INCIT’s mission is to develop internationally referenced frameworks, tools, concepts and programs to raise awareness and educate the international manufacturing community on the latest transformation developments and trends in manufacturing with a view of creating a more sustainable future. Its tools and frameworks provide international standards that allow unbiased benchmarking, which can drive continuous improvement and growth in manufacturing.
