WDS welcomes Jessica Runkel to executive board

Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH (WDS) and Maschinenbau Runkel GmbH recently named Jessica Runkel managing director.

Ms Runkel is one of two daughters of Rainer Runkel, owner of WDS. She and her sister Vanessa Runkel – the third generation – have been firmly anchored in the company since childhood, so it was clear from an early age that the business would remain within the family. Her appointment assures the continued existence of both companies in Rengsdorf, Germany.

WDS is a manufacturer of confectionery equipment, including those for chocolate, gum, jelly, fondant, toffee, and OTC sweets.
