Americhem exhibits at the Guangzhou edition for the first time with a range of new products and technologies

Americhem (Suzhou) Co. Ltd., a global provider of color and additive solutions for polymeric products,is highlighting a number of key product offerings while exhibiting at Chinaplas 2017, May 16–19 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. This is the first time Americhem exhibits at the Guangzhou version of this global event and the company's exhibit will be located at K21 hall 11.3.

“Americhem China is proud to exhibit at this key global plastics event,” said Stanley Teoh, vice president and managing director for the Asia Pacific region. “We are showcasing a number of new masterbatch and engineered compounds, united under the theme, Embracing Technology and Innovation. Everything is Possible. We intend to show visitors that our recent designation as a High-Tech Enterprise in China is symbolic of the innovations we create with our customers every day.”

New product categories include masterbatches and compounds for automotive applications. Americhem China is a key component in Americhem's global in-vehicle color harmony program. This ensures that auto interior components colored with Americhem products are aesthetically aligned with one another, including parts made of widely varied materials and produced at locations throughout the world. Americhem assures this color alignment, putting vehicle producers and their suppliers at ease throughout the process.

The company also introduces products for PET films including its nDuramax® line of UV stabilizers specifically developed for the PET films market. As one of the largest producers of outdoor masterbatches in the world, Americhem leverages its nDuramax technologies in a multitude of industries and end uses including vinyl siding, composite decking, synthetic turf, awning fabrics and many more. The company offers a variety of UV stabilization grades from the least demanding to the company's highest-performance offerings. Americhem's products are customized for the specific customer, containing the level of stability they desire. In addition, nDuramax can be combined with color and other additives to create customized multifunctional masterbatches.

Americhem's eCap™ line of enhanced precolor compounds for the building and construction industry is also be featured at Americhem's booth. These capstock compounds improve strength, color retention, scratch and mar resistance and adhesion of capstock to the substrate. eCap compounds offer enhanced weathering performance in addition to improved dimensional stability and greater impact resistance. These products can also be combined with Americhem’s nGrain®simulated woodgrain effects for a true-to-life woodgrain appearance with long-lasting aesthetics.

Americhem China also produces specialty compounded products for its sister company, Infinity LTL Engineered Compounds. Product offerings include compounds for medical device products, aerospace applications, structural reinforcement, internal lubricity, electrical activity, precolor and a variety of other functionalities.

The company's booth also features antimicrobial compounds and masterbatches designed to protect products from the growth of bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms. Produced under the nShield™ brand name, these products are well-suited for use in sanitary applications for the kitchen and bathroom. The nShield range of antimicrobial masterbatches possesses excellent compatibility with transparent polymers like polycarbonate, acrylic, GPPS, SAN and ABS. The technologies are appropriate as antifungal agents in some high-temperature and transparent polymers, as well as plastics used outdoors. Products are also available for nylon and polyester fibers as well as products that allow for an ultra-low letdown rate.

Commercial and technical personnel are on hand at Americhem's Chinaplas exhibit to answer questions and explain how the technologies can benefit plastics processors. For more information, contact Scott Blanchard at sblanchard@americhem.com.
