InterPlas Thailand 2019 is expected to reach new heights in terms of productivity as over 350 brands from 20 countries are presented.
InterPlas Thailand 2019, or the 28th edition of ASEAN’s Most Comprehensive Exhibition on Machinery, Technology, Chemicals, and Raw Materials for Plastics Manufacturing, is a gathering hub for 17,000+ quality buyers from many industry sectors who participate this annual event to discover the latest trends. This year, the exhibition is expected to reach new heights in terms of productivity as over 350 brands from 20 countries are presented.
Scheduled to take place on June 19-22 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), InterPlas Thailand is held under the Manufacturing Expo 2019 which is touted as ASEAN’s biggest trade event. Manufacturing Expo 2019 empowers the supporting and manufacturing industries including automation and assembling technology, mould making technology, electronics manufacturing technology, plastics and packaging, automotive body parts, and surface & coatings solutions. These concurrent exhibitions are geared to deliver up-to-date movements of industries and showcase the latest innovations and solutions by 2,400 brands from 46 countries. Over 95,000 industrialists are expected to visit the expo.
Attesting to the expo’s growing importance, InterPlas Thailand has provided more value-added information through concurrent events aimed at meeting the industry’s demand for advancing highly efficient plastics production. Moreover, it is a place to connect with business contacts and expand business network.
The trade exhibition has the support of the Thai government and its various agencies. This year, the more prominent focus is on achieving sustainable production given that the Thai government’s policy integrates circular economy into industrial development plan. The policy is seen as meeting the objective of bringing sustainability to industry in terms of better cost management, quality improvement, new innovations encouragement, as well as reserving natural resources and improving the quality of life via eco-friendly concepts. Plastics is one of the major industries in Thailand that is now ready for the changes in know-how and production process to keep abreast with modern technological directions. During this transition period, plastics industrialists are looking for game-changing technologies, know-how and strategies to stay ahead of the global competition.
Aside from InterPlas Thailand, the Manufacturing Expo consists of other five exhibitions: InterMold Thailand 2019; Automotive Manufacturing 2019; Surface & Coatings 2019; Assembly & Automation Technology; RobotXME; NEPCON Thailand; and Mfair.
Prior to InterPlas Thailand, the Plastics Institute of Thailand and Reed Tradex Co., Ltd., the show’s organisers, co-organised Plastics Forum 2019 with theme, “Transforming Plastics Industry via Circular Economy Concept” as a platform to present and exchange knowledge on circular economy and the transformation of the plastics industry towards greater efficiency and in line with eco-friendly concept.
