KOPLAS 2017 will be held along with INTERMOLD KOREA and HARFKO from March 7 to 11,  2017

Korea’s dedicated exhibition for the plastics and rubber production, KOPLAS, is now on its 24th edition. The Korea International Plastics & Rubber show is getting bigger each year, as more companies recognize this event’s special role in presenting the entire spectrum of advanced technologies and raw materials for the production of plastic and rubber products.

KOPLAS 2017 will be held along with INTERMOLD KOREA (Korea International Die-MOld & Related Equipment Exhibition) and HARFKO (Heating Air-Conditioning Refrigeration and Fluid Exhibition)  from March 7 to 11,  2017. The five-day trade show will be held at KINTEX (Korea Exhibition Center 1 & 2), in Goyang, South Korea. At KOPLAS, the region’s plastic and rubber industry is well represented with the whole exhibition floor spanning 76,000sqm with 4,000 booths for 1,000 exhibitors.  The organizers expect these exhibitors to come from 26 countries.

What makes the event more interesting is the presence of key players in three industrial sectors such as plastics, rubbers, mold, heating and AC. It brings a unique chance to open a new market and see the interaction between plastics and rubber manufacturing with other related sectors.  And with over 90,000 buyers anticipated, this year’s edition is expected to set new records in terms of size and quality of exhibit.   From environment-friendly materials to super precision machinery, KOPLAS 2017 will highlight the best solutions to achieve a smart manufacturing operation. The event is supported by Ministry of Trade, Industry and energy, Small and Medium Business Administration, and Korea Federation of Plastic Industry Cooperatives. This year’s theme "Experience the Smart  Factory" will present an interesting edition for all visitors looking for the right solutions to achieve production efficiency.

KOPLAS 2017

The expansion of the exhibition is an indication of Korea’s importance as an industrial giant whose production of automotive parts, IT related products, packaging among others are increasingly demanding high performance plastics and rubber.  With growing trends moving toward replacement of metal and other traditional materials like glass and concrete with plastics, production of high performance materials and advanced machinery in Korea has also been on the upswing.
