Bonfiglioli offers TQK right-angle precision planetary gearboxes

BONFIGLIOLI has recently introduced its new Right-Angle Precision Gearbox.

The new TQK series complements the TQ line and delivers maximum power density and the highest input speed rank to match the fastest servomotors on the market. It provides the highest flexibility for input flanges to correspond with both Bonfiglioli and the most common servomotors.

The Right-Angle Precision Gearbox is ideal for dynamic positioning applications for packaging and machine tooling as well for flat-bed machinery for wood working. It is also suitable for applications requiring dynamic, high-speed, top precision actions, reverse operations, and a high number of starts and stops. The precision gearbox can also be used for continuous running applications for printing and paper converting.

It allows for top performance while offering a space-saving installation solution. It comes in five sizes, namely 060, 070, 090, 130, and 160, with ratios from 6 up to 200 and a nominal torque of 30Nm to 800Nm.

The TQK line features a distinctive housing design and optimized mono-block planetary carrier to ensure a markedly high torsional stiffness for different requirements. The design suits S1 and S5 operation with a very reliable catalog rating and selection procedure. The gearbox has optimized planetary full-needle roller bearings to achieve a higher torque output from the maximizing of the contact points and increased stiffness, reduced wear, and backlash. Its higher-rating bearings can handle greater radial and axial loads, while the reinforced bearing options extend higher performance. The combination of the reduced backlash and the high stiffness results in the highest level of precision.

The product comes with a standard and reduced backlash lower than 4 arcmin and a smooth/keyed shaft.
