Building a high-quality screw brand

The plastic machinery industry in China is the backbone of the machinery industry in terms of size and importance. The Chinese Plastic Machinery Industry Association predicts that the plastics machinery industry will maintain its double-digit growth in the next five years. With the higher requirements for customization, many factories have begun to upgrade and transform. International Plastics News for Asia (IRNA) talked to Mr. Chenyi, Vice General Manager of Jingheng Machine Co., Ltd. on how the company’s path toward success.

IRNA: Please give us a brief introduction of Jingheng and its products and services. 

Mr. Chenyi: Dongguan Jingheng Machine Co., Ltd. is part of Jingheng Industry(H.K.) Co., Ltd., which is a global manufacturer of high precision screws and barrels. Since its establishment more than two decades ago, it has been committed to producing high-quality screws with good durability as a result of ultra-fine processing technology. The company’s products are exported to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, German, Belgium, HongKong, Taiwan and other countries and regions.

 

Jingheng runs a professional design and R&D team, and operates advanced processing facility manned by expert technical team. The company closely cooperates with international well-known steel manufacturers and large-scale thermal treatment manufacturers in order to select the materials and control the thermal treatment and processing technology. In addition, our company also classifies and designs the products based on different demands of customers. The classification and design of products not only effectively improve the operation efficiency of the company's ERP system, but also optimizes the factory production and management.

IRNA: What major changes or improvements have been made in the refurbishment of the plant?  

Mr. Chenyi:  The refurbishment began from end-September and will be finished around end of this year. We have introduced a batch of the most advanced processing and testing equipment available today and there are about five new equipment in place now. The new CNC machine will further improve the efficiency of the factory, shorten the delivery time, and improve product quality. During the introduction of new equipment, Jingheng adheres to the "people-oriented" development principle. Thanks to our technology engineers who have 10 to 30 years of experience, Jingheng takes a leading position in technological expertise.  

 

IRNA: Jingheng has always maintained its cooperation with many famous brands, what are the competitive advantages of this cooperation?  

Mr. Chenyi: The steady development of our company comes from our high standards and strict adherence to quality and service. Secondly, our prices are moderate which show the best value for money. For example, our EPS8000 series deployed its own well-known steel powder, pressed powder from refining steel, powder particles with a more refined higher purity, full quenched, vacuum hardening, tempering, cryogenic and other process production, ultra-resistant to corrosion and abrasion. This product is currently lacking in the domestic market so that it is favored by many connector manufacturers.

 

The CNC manufacturing center mainly uses Nitta, Doosan, Mitsubishi high speed machine tools. Digital control machine tools are made by NOMURA, Citizen, .etc. Auxiliary equipment include laser cutting machine, wire cutting machine, precision grinding machine and so on.  We can undertake various materials processing, such as stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, copper, magnesium alloy, polymer, plastics and so on. At the same time, we have quadratic element projectors, cubic element microscope, two-dimensional altimeter, hardness tester and other testing equipment to control the product quality, with tolerances of ±0.002mm, which to provide customers with stable and reliable products and services.

 

Jingheng is willing to build “Made in China” screw brand with international vision. Constantly improving technical expertise, Jingheng strives to provide customers with one-stop service and our products are widely used in different industries. Our long-term cooperators include BYD, FLextronics, GREE and many other companies in different industries.

 

 

IRNA: As Southeast Asian market has been your main market all these years, what are your plans in the next few years?  

Mr. Chenyi: Jingheng currently accounts for 30% of foreign markets and 70% of the domestic. We will gradually balance these two markets in the future. The domestic manufacturing market will face a large industrial upgrading in the next few years, and a group of low-end suppliers will be eliminated, while those who survived, the high-end manufacturers, will get more market space. That’s the reason why Jingheng will always persist in striding forward the advanced direction. In the future, we will maintain the stable development of the Southeast Asian market, and at the same time further expand the domestic market. We will gradually spread from the screw pipe to more machinery accessories, making a wide variety of products.

 

Jingheng developed steadily by more than 30% from 2015, however we have been in control of the growth to keep the product quality. Product quality will always be our first pursuit. Fast development is not what Jingheng only seek for.

 

IRNA: The plastic machinery industry is developing in the direction of customization and automation. How does Jingheng catch up with this trend?  

Mr. Chenyi:  Customization and automation will bring a new upgrading for the plastic machinery industry. The refurbishment of our factory is one of the measures we have taken to cope with this industrial upgrading. Talking about customization, customized design is always one of our advantages. We have the most number of engineers in Southern China so that we can implement customized design to meet the requirements of the screw and the cylinder, according to different materials and sizes of screw.  We offer one-stop services from design, production, testing to after-sale maintenance.  IRNA
