Cocoa Revolution summit offers 360-degree view of industry

The conference in Singapore will cover market dynamics, processing trends, and other aspects of cocoa and chocolate production

MAJOR players in the chocolate and cocoa industry will take part in the first Cocoa Revolution summit scheduled on 4-5 March 2015 in GoodWood Park Hotel, Singapore. Presentations will focus on the theme, “Profiting from Cocoa as Demand Rises in Asia's Emerging Markets”, and will highlight developments in processing, yield & quality improvement, as well as updates on bean varieties such as CCN 51.

The summit will provide a global perspective on the industry as Dennis Melka, founder/CEO of United Cacao Limited SEZC speaks on ‘New Cocoa Plantation Project in Peru’; V. Srivathsan, managing director for Africa & Middle East at Olam International Limited on ‘Cocoa Position and Value Chain Activities in Africa’; and Gerard Stapleton, head of South-East Asian Research of LMC International Ltd on ‘Global View on the Future of Cocoa Market and Dynamics of Butter/ Powder Balance’.

In addition, the topic Key Developments in Emerging Consumer Markets will be handled by The Shanghai BBCA Aloha Chocolate Ltd for the China market and Kreative Chocolates for India market.
