Seals and Gaskets- Industrial and Architectural
Davis-Standard supplies elastomer extruders, components, and complete elastomer systems for large and small continuous cure gasket lines for both rubber and silicone products.  A wide range of Davis-Standard-built and Davis-Standard-specified equipment from experienced partners is available - including hot air and microwave curing ovens, salt bath curing tanks, standard and custom cooling tanks, pullers, cutters, laser marking, printing and winding. Advanced elastomer technology, such as the purpose-designed DSREV rubber extruder, is used in conjunction with this equipment. Advantages of the DSREV include a patented pneumatic roll feed system to a provide uniform, consistent feed rate; electric heat/water-cooled heating for quicker response time; lower maintenance and smaller machine footprint; rugged Davis-Standard gearboxes; and Davis-Standard proven feedscrew designs to maximize output and minimize scorch.

Seals and Gaskets- Automotive
Davis-Standard has years of experience supplying elastomer extruders, components, and complete systems for automotive seals. Tier 1 customer installations worldwide include duplex, triplex and quadruplex profile heads for supported and unsupported rubber profiles. Davis-Standard offers turnkey applications including carrier forming, curing, coating, flocking and cutting/sawing of profiles.  A wide range of Davis-Standard-built and Davis-Standard-specified equipment from experienced partners is available including hot air and microwave curing ovens, pre-and post-formers for rigid carrier, flocking booths, cooling tanks, pullers, cutters, laser marking, printing and drilling.

Automotive Hose
Davis-Standard elastomer systems and rubber extruders for automotive hose are used by Tier 1 customers worldwide.   Preferred technology in this area includes the Model 2000 hydraulic crosshead, which reduces scrap and enables faster start-up times. The hydraulic actuation of the flow diverter/core tube enables quick tooling changes and simplified cleaning. All interior flow surfaces are coated with engineered formulations for better resistance and material flow.

Industrial Hose
Davis-Standard offers vast experience in supplying extruders, components, and complete systems for industrial rubber hose. These include laser and x-ray gauge control, pullers and cutters, textile reinforcement, cooling and anti-tack application tanks, adhesion-promoting systems, anti-tack dusting systems, laser-marking, printing and winding.

Medical Applications
Davis-Standard has extensive process and extrusion expertise in the area of medical and industrial silicone tubing worldwide.  With customized equipment including horizontal or vertical extrusion, short wave or medium-wave cure systems, custom designed dies and downstream equipment, or precision cutting and winding, Davis-Standard is able to meet precise product requirements.

Technical Solutions and Service
Davis-Standard provides technical solutions to help customers improve their elastomer extrusion processes.  These include increased output rates, lower extrudate temperatures, and optimization of feed screw designs for processing today’s challenging elastomer compound formulations.  Davis-Standard also offers regional service and support through their subsidiary in Suzhou.
