Dow addresses recyclability targets

Dow has been helping brand owners and converters address recyclability targets through its comprehensive portfolio of technologies, materials and services. New PCR resin from Dow

Dow continues to work towards a circular system, which would guarantee that secondary or transportation packaging films are recycled back into the same type of application. This innovation is another example of Dow’s strategy to enable a shift to a circular economy for plastics, by focusing on resource efficiency and integrating recycled content and renewable feedstocks into its production processes.

 

On April 29 at 10:00-11:00 a.m. GMT+8, Dow is hosting a Free Webinar about its new formulated post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin for collation shrink film applications available throughout Asia Pacific. 

 

The new resin is designed PCR content that boasts a performance comparable to virgin resins. Using this PCR resin will also help companies reduce their CO2 and energy footprints, thereby improving the sustainability profile of shrink films and at the same time breathing new life to plastics that otherwise would have become waste. 

 

The webinar is open to all plastics converters and OEMs as well as to CPG brand owners and retailers. In this webinar, participants can learn about Dow’s new product offering and understand the sustainability benefits the new resin provides. They can also ask questions to technical experts about the resin’s performance and find out how they can obtain a sample of this product.
