Givaudan opens centre in Malaysia

THE Givaudan Business Solutions (GBS) delivery centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is now in operation.  At the inauguration attended by more than 60 guests including members of Givaudan's Executive Committee, the Swiss Ambassador to Malaysia, local dignitaries, and company employees, CEO Gilles Andrier, said: “GBS is all about increasing agility and efficiency while driving excellence in the delivery of our services and solutions in order to grow alongside our customers. Our new centre is strategically situated in Malaysia to enable Givaudan to deliver a superior customer experience as we continue to grow in the region and work towards achieving our 2020 ambition.” 

Based in the Petaling Jaya sector, the centre will be home to business services and solutions that will form a platform for Givaudan’s growth in the Asia Pacific region. The company has similar centres in Budapest and Buenos Aires. Initially focusing on finance and procurement solutions for indirect materials and services, the centre will begin implementing the full range of GBS activities in 2019. The GBS centre in Kuala Lumpur will integrate processes from the functional areas of Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Enterprise Data Management.
