At Gulfood Manufacturing, trade with the world

SINCE its launch in 2014, Gulfood Manufacturing has remained a leading trade event for markets in Middle East, Africa and South East Asia (MEASA). The trade show is divided into three sectors: Ingredients Middle East, ProPack Middle East, and Logistics Middle East, where thousands of products and services will be on showcase from 1,500 suppliers. There will be about 30 international pavilions.

Among exhibitors are ADM, Beneo, BASF, FrieslandCampina Ingredients, Naturex, Haas Food Equipment GmBH, HDG Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH, Constantia Flexibles,

Italpack S.R.L Packaging Systems, Panache International, Techgen Machineries Ltd, TNA Australia, Sidel, Sacmi Imola, Schmucker S.R.L., Sepehr Polymer Sepahan from Iran, and Spriflow.

Gulfood Manufacturing attracts some 35,000 trade visitors annually seeking new ingredients and additives, innovative packaging and packaging equipment, efficient processing solutions, and logistics partners.

A highlight is Food Logistics Forum which will address the region’s need for better integrated logistics solutions. The two-day event is attended by key players in foodservice, retail, logistics and transportation.

SEAFEX

SEAFEX will be held from 7-9 November 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This exhibition powered by Gulfood brings together a showcase of fresh fish, shellfish and wide-ranging seafood delicacies. Demand for seafood in the Middle East and Africa (MENA) reaches $272 million. Some 13,000 buyers will be at this event.

Formerly known as Sweets & Snacks Middle East, this trade fair continues to offer the best of the world’s confectionery and snacks. The MENA region accounts for $288 million worth of confectionery.

The Speciality Food Festival

The Speciality Food Festival also scheduled on the same dates, focuses on gourmet and specialty food and highlights fresh, global produce and high quality natural ingredients. The market accounts for $35 billion.

Future Food Live

Together the Dubai Municipality and the Dubai World Trade Centre launch Future Food Live, an exhibition, conference and workshop that will tackle the government’s priority of increasing food security and delivering a healthier society. This event is attended by global food specialists, distributors and government-backed farms, the event will showcase the full spectrum of nutritional food and beverage products, with an additional focus on agritech equipment designed to facilitate independent farm production.
