Hain Celestial enters premium soups market

THROUGH its wholly-owned subsidiary Hain Frozen Foods UK Limited, The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. has completed the purchase of The Yorkshire Provender Limited. 

 

Hain Celestial is a leading organic and natural products company with operations in North America, Europe and India. Its acquistion of Yorkshire Provender in England will expand its presence in the soups segment.  

 

Founded in 2007, Yorkshire produces premium branded soups sold in leading retailers, on-the-go food outlets and food service providers in the UK. It will continue to operate from its Yorkshire location. In calendar year 2016 Yorkshire Provender had approximately £6 million in net sales and is expected to be accretive to Hain Celestial's earnings in fiscal year 2018 as the Company works with the combined infrastructures to drive future growth.
