The Infiana Group, a world-leading specialty films producer, announced the appointment of a new General Manager to head its Thailand subsidiary. The appointment of Chairat Teekhasaenee as the new General of Infiana (Thailand) Limited subsidiary reflects the company's move to further expand its Southeast Asian business activities.
“We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Teekhasaenee into the Infiana family. His experience and personality make him an optimal fit for our Asian operations,” noted Peter K Wahsner, CEO of the Infiana Group.
Prior to joining Infiana (Thailand) Limited, Mr. Teekhasaenee was active at packaging and plastics specialist Signode Systems, where he managed the company’s Southeast Asian business activities. He also previously held roles at Klöckner Pentaplast and Henkel.

As one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for specialty films, the Asia Pacific region plays an increasingly important role in Infiana’s global expansion efforts. Since opening a state-of-the-art production and finishing site in Samutsakorn in 2011, the company has been steadily building out its Asian market presence, with particular focus on delivering innovative, high-quality hygiene products.
The Infiana Group develops and produces engineered and innovative films for consumer markets and industry. The Group employs about 800 people at its three production sites in Forchheim (Germany), Malvern (USA) und Samutsakorn (Thailand). Infiana is active in the Personal Care (film products for packaging of hygiene items), Healthcare (release and process films, films for packaging), Building & Construction (release and surface films), Composites (release and process films) and Pressure Sensitive markets (siliconized release films). In 2015, the Infiana Group recorded revenues of 205 million Euro.
