Dow Webinar on July 16 (2:00pm GMT+8) to focus on solutions to polymer modification and efficient recycling for improved material performance.
The Dow Webinar scheduled on July 16 (Thursday) from 2:00 p.m. (GMT+8) aims to provide professionals engaged in plastics manufacturing and recycling with innovative solutions to polymer modifications and recycling. The online event is hosted by Dow in partnership with Ringier Events. It is part of the series of webinars Dow has organized to brief the Asian market on its initiatives to address both climate change and plastic waste through its innovative material solutions.

For the July 16 webinar, two of Dow’s materials technology experts will provide an overview on how Dow can improve the polymer modification process and enhance recycling with case studies of actual applications. The experts will explain how the performance of engineering plastics can be further improved with the Dow solutions, and how manufacturers can maximize their use of high-value recycled plastics. The webinar will further explain the effective process to modify hot materials such as nylon, polyester, PC and PVC.

As increased awareness on environment protection spreads around the world, Dow has taken an aggressive step forward with its new commitments to address both climate change and plastic waste on its path toward becoming the most innovative, customer-centric, inclusive and sustainable materials science company in the world.

Dow’s commitments include reduction in its net annual carbon emissions by 5 million tons by 2030 and becoming carbon neutral by 2050. Another important target is that by 2030, Dow will help “stop the waste” by enabling 1 million metric tons of plastic to be collected, reused or recycled through its direct actions and partnerships.
