Jiuh Kang special screws and barrels

First-time IPF exhibitor, Jiuh Kang is a manufacturer who produces screws and barrels for extruders, injection purpose screw, barrel component, and high-efficiency screws for high-speed blown film processing. 

 

Jiuh Kang diversifies its sales emphasis to overseas market from recent years – including to the Japan and European markets, as the Southeast Asia region, Taiwan and China markets have been solidified. “Joining IPF 2017 to showcase the company’s products is consistent to the policy for expanding to highly industrialized countries. Particular that we felt the impact of dropping domestic demands from Taiwan this year, so it seems even more crucial to invest in other markets” Mr. Miao-Te Chen, Sales Manager stated. 

 

 

At IPF, Jiuh Kang exhibited static mixer, high efficiency type screws for extruders and injection machineries as well as customized screws designed to integrate into particular production requests and different variety of raw materials machining. “One of the highlighted products from the company is screw made from aluminum alloy, with a 400mm outer diameter” Mr. Miao-Te Chen said.

 

Participation to IPF was beneficial for Jiuh Kang as it has been able to achieve personal communication with Japanese customers. Jiuh Kang has already received orders from Tokyo- and Osaka-based companies, but the key arrangements for integrating Jiuh Kang’s screws to customers’ existing production lines still demand more discussions – so IPF becomes the platform for both sides to analyze and discuss the upgrade of capacity after Jiuh Kang’s screws merge into Japanese production line. For next year’s R&D strategy, Jiuh Kang has bought a new factory that is positioned to be an Industry 4.0 factory incorporating smart manufacturing equipment, inspection instruments and high performing machine tools. Furthermore, it is expected to reinforce Vietnam sales and services, especially under China’s One-Road-One-Belt, where opportunities are flourishing while competition is escalating, too. “We will also take the issue of composite materials into consideration – thus strengthening technologies in post-processing of our screws to fit a wider array of materials machining.” Mr. Miao-Te Chen added.
