Ms Julia Kölsch has over 10 years’ experience in the field of Food and FoodTec  

Koelnmesse has announed that effective immediately, Julia Kölsch will be the Director of euvend & coffeena, the international trade fair for the vending and coffee sector. She succeeds Stefanie Mauritz, became Director of Anuga on 1 February 2020.

Julia Kölsch, 37, has been with the company since 2010, initially as sales manager for the world’s leading food fair Anuga, and since 2014 as director of ProSweets Cologne, the supplier fair for the sweets sector. This gives her more than ten years’ experience in the field of food and food technology. She will assume the new position in addition to her position as Director of ProSweets Cologne.

“Julia Kölsch is impressive for her strategic and conceptual competence and will continue to advance the reorientation of euvend & coffeena, which for the first time will be held parallel to ORGATEC, the leading international trade fair for the modern working world, in 2020”, Oliver Frese, Chief Operating Officer of Koelnmesse, remarked.

In 2019, Koelnmesse generated sales of over 400 million euro worldwide and has over 1,000 employees. As a city-centre trade fair at the heart of Europe, it is the third largest exhibition centre in Germany and, with almost 400,000 m² of hall and outdoor space, is among the top ten in the world. Every year, Koelnmesse organises and supports approximately 80 trade fairs, guest events and special events in Cologne and in the most important markets worldwide. Its portfolio attracts over 54,000 exhibiting companies from 122 countries and some three million visitors from more than 200 countries. By 2030, Koelnmesse plans to invest approximately  700 million euro in the future of the exhibition centre with the most extensive investment programme in its history.
