GELITA is a recipient of the German Brand Award for successful brand management in the category Industry Excellence in Branding. The prize comes from the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung) and the German Brand Institute. In addition, the corporate film “You can see” won the renowned “Intermedia-globe Award” in gold at the World Media Festival in the category Public Relations/Image.
The German Brand Award whose goal is to discover, showcase and reward groundbreaking brands and brand makers, acknowledges successful brand management in Germany. It recognizes innovative brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication as well as pioneering individuals and companies in the world of brands.
Successful brand management
The founder of the competition, the German Design Council, awarded the GELITA brand with the prize in the category Industry Excellence in Branding. This is a very special honor, as only companies nominated by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and expert committees are permitted to participate in the competition. GELITA pursues a clear premium brand strategy throughout the world: “We are really excited that the GELITA company and product brand are perceived in such a positive way. Along with excellent products and services, a consistent brand strategy is essential for setting standards in the global competitive environment,” said Michael Teppner, Global Vice President of Marketing & Communication at GELITA AG, who accepted the German Brand Award at the official ceremony in Berlin.

Winning video on gelatin and collagen peptides
At the World Media Festival – global competition for modern media, the Jury found Gelita’s corporate video, "You can see", creative and technically outstanding. The film portrays the wide-ranging applications for gelatin and collagen peptides in a creative way, providing the viewer with a new perspective on the world.
As part of the World Media Festival 2016 – the renowned Festival for Corporate Film, TV, Web, Web TV and print production – Stephan Ruhm, Marketing and Communications, accepted the "Intermedia-globe Award" in gold for GELITA at the official awards ceremony in Hamburg.
