Merger of Maag Pump Systems and Automatik Plastics Machinery

Mr. Roger. Stehr, CEO, Automatik Plastics Machinery Maag Pump Systems AG is merging with Germany-based Automatik Plastics Machinery GmbH. This means the formation of the worldwide leading group for systems and components for manufacturing and processing plastics. Through the merger, Maag Pump Systems and Automatik Plastics Machinery will decisively reinforce their market position with round 460 employees and a turnover of about €100 million. On-site presence is being nearly doubled and now comprises over 100 countries. The group is thus in an ideal position for serving its customers across the globe. Maag Pump Systems is one of the largest providers worldwide for gear pumps, filtration systems and screen changers for the plastics industry, as well as for chemical and industrial processes. Automatik Plastics Machinery is the leader in pelletising systems for manufacturing plastic pellets.
