MTA VIETNAM 2017 transforms Vietnam's manufacturing industry

MTA VIETNAM, the International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition, will return from 4 to 7 July 2017 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Into its 15^th edition, MTA VIETNAM is the premier gateway for Vietnam’s industrial manufacturers to be kept up to date with the most progressive machines, technologies and innovations available in the global marketplace for precision engineering and industrial manufacturing.

MTA VIETNAM 2017 prides itself as the industry’s one-stop-shop for the precision and machine tool industry – positioning itself as the ultimate platform for education, networking and state-of-the-art machine tool technologies. Encompassing 4,300 square meters of the exhibition space, the niche event features up to 420 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions, with the strong presence of 13 international group pavilions of Germany, Korea (6 groups), Japan, Singapore, Taiwan (3 groups) and Thailand.

As in previous editions, the show attracts many new international brands and first-time exhibitors aside from the presence of returning market leaders such as DMG Mori, Haas, Hurco, Mitsubishi Electric, Hwacheon, Knuth, Sodick, Studer, Mazak, Makino, Doosan Infracore, Goodway, Awea, Roeders, Tong Tai, Litz, Zitai, Victor Taichung, Takamaz, Blum, Mitutoyo, Nikon, Optical Gaging, Renishaw, Hexagon Metrology, Wenzel, Marposs, Zoller, Heidenhain, YG-1, NT Tool, Hoffmann Quality Tools, MST, Sumitomo Electric Hardmetal, Big Daishowa, Guhring, Widin, Haimer, Schunk, amongst others. The largest range of cutting edge technologies, applications and systems catering to the manufacturing industry will be showcased on the exhibition floor.

Supplementing the bustling hive of activity on the exhibition floor, a full roster of educational sessions, conferences and seminars will also be hosted throughout the show. Featuring an impressive line-up of speakers from local and regional organizations, the conferences provided delegates with invaluable insights into precision engineering, metalworking, manufacturing technology, latest industry trends as well as best practices catering to the future of this promising sector.

MTA VIETNAM 2016 concluded with quality results

The previous edition of MTA VIETNAM recorded an impressive attendance of 12,626 attendees from 24 countries and regions. This included trade visitors, exhibiting staff, conference delegates and speakers, and members of the press, who had countless opportunities to partake in bustling business activities across 11,000 square meters of exhibition space. This is a strong testament to the insurmountable importance and value MTA VIETNAM brings to the industry.

The exhibition hosted 416 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions, of which 76 per cent comprised international brands, showing a healthy increase of 20 per cent compared to 2015. In these, there were 13 international group pavilions of Germany, Japan, Korea (6), Singapore, Taiwan (3) and Thailand. Exhibitor satisfaction with the quality of the show was remarkably high, as the event had set the stage for exhibitors to network with key decision-makers, grow their client base and build strategic alliances.
