New stevia ingredient from PureCircle

PureCircle further supports its F&B customers in creating zero-added sugar and reduced sugar products with the introduction of a new stevia ingredient.

Sigma Syrup overcomes solubility challenges associated with stevia when used in products such as syrups and liquid table top sweeteners. An optimised blend of Reb M, the company’s next generation stevia leaf ingredients .the new Sigma Syrup has a clean, sugar-like taste. It is also non-GMO.

Breakthrough stevia varietal

PureCircle also announced the success of its new proprietary varietal of stevia plants. The breakthrough increases the effective yield of PureCircle’s stevia plants, thereby  enhancing  the company’s production efficiency, and ability to deliver a sustainable, cost effective supply of stevia leaf ingredients to food and beverage companies.  This allows brand owners to develop more accessible, healthier products for a wider range of consumer price points.
