PackSys Global AG has agreed to sell its subsidiary, PackSys Global (Thailand) Limited, to Benpac Holding AG
PackSys Global AG has agreed, effective May 31, 2019, to sell its subsidiary, PackSys Global (Thailand) Limited, to Benpac Holding AG. PackSys Global Thailand manufactures lines to make monobloc aluminium aerosol cans and aluminium tubes as well as printing machines for metal and plastic closures. Roman Angst, CEO of PackSys Global Thailand, will continue as CEO of the company which will be renamed Benpac Packaging ltd.
 
Following a strategic review PackSys Global AG and its German parent, the Brückner Group, decided to focus on PackSys Global’s core competence in plastic packaging business. PackSys Global will continue to be involved in the aerosol and aluminium tube industry via its Swiss subsidiary, Texa AG, the world market leader in packing machines for unfilled aluminium aerosol cans, aluminium, plastic and laminate tubes and cartridges.
 
Benpac sees a growth potential in aluminum related packaging businesses. In addition, Benpac wants to use their new location as a hub for future expansion of their group in Asia.
 
PackSys Thaliand
 
PackSys Global AG manufactures high-speed machines and complete lines for plastic and laminate tubes as well as folding and slitting machines for plastic beverage caps. Members of PackSys Global are Combitool Solutions, a supplier of machines and tools for manufacturing cosmetic tubes, Madag Printing Systems, a specialist for automatic hot stamping machines for the packaging, cosmetic and automotive industry and Texa Packaging manufactures machines that pack unfilled plastic and aluminium tubes, cans, bottles and cartridges. 
 
The Brückner Group is a family-owned group of companies in the mechanical and industrial engineering sectors for the plastics and packaging industry with approx. 2,600 employees worldwide. The leading companies in the Group are: Brückner Maschinenbau, Brückner Servtec, Kiefel and PackSys Global.
 
Benpac Holding AG, under the ownership of Swiss national Marco Corvi, is guiding an aspiring group of companies with the main technologies in high precision and high speed liquid filling machines, closing machines, innovative labeling solutions, paper based packaging technologies as well as solutions for the injection molding markets.
