Personal Care & Cosmetics innovation awards welcome entries

NOW on its 5th year, the 2015 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards – Personal Care & Cosmetics Industry is receiving nominations. The deadline for entries is January 8, 2015. 

 

The Awards consist of four categories: Active Ingredients, which covers moisturizing, hydrating, anti-aging, whitening, brightening, UV stabilizer, sunscreen, and anti-allergy products; Functional Ingredients, comprising preserving, emulsifying, stabilizing, thickening, delivery, and sensory enhancing solutions; Packaging, which consists of packaging machinery, packaging raw materials, and components; and Processing & Testing. They are presented to a select group of innovators each year in China.  

 

New products and solutions launched in the China market from 2013 to 2015 are eligible to enter the selection process. Judging will take place from January 15 to 22, with the winners announced at the Awards ceremony to be held on March 13. This will coincide with the PCHi 2015 in Guangzhou, which will be attended by all winners, judges, industry professionals, and the media.

 

The Awards, which were co-organized by Happi China, Ringer Trade Media, and the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients Show 2015 (PCHi 2015) and Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions Co. Ltd, aim to recognize individuals and companies who have introduced and developed a new idea, methodology, product, or technology for production efficiency, cost effectiveness, and user convenience. This is in line with energy saving and clean manufacturing in the personal care and cosmetics industry. 

 

Established in 2006, the Ringier Technology Industry Awards series cover nine different industries. Recognized as the most honest, transparent, and fairest among industry awards in China, the Awards are open to all nominations and an independent panel of judges select the winners based solely on merit.  

 

Last year, 15 innovative products from nine categories won. These included Actopontine from Ashland and SymHair® Force 1631 from Symrise.
