Powerful yet simple measuring systems

Swift Pro, Vision Engineering says, is a simple but powerful range of non-contact measuring system. Combining the latest optical and video measurement technologies, Swift Pro reports and does quality control, which is required in electronics and aerospace applications right through to plastic and medical parts manufacturing.

 

According to the company, its design, fast and accurate 3-axis measurement, and user-friendly interface enable quick and easy measuring of components and reporting. With only minimal training, both shift workers and advanced users find the system easy to operate, thus reducing staff costs as well as saving operator errors.

 

Even difficult to view samples can now be measured more accurately with the system’s new HD video camera that has Video Edge Detection (VED) and a fully dimmable stage illumination. Measuring sizes are 200mm x 100mm and 150mm x 100mm, providing up to 5μm accuracy, which are available with the option of a robust QC3000 controller/microprocessor or PC software offering flexibility and small footprints.

 

Swift Pro Duo has an ergonomic measuring microscope. It has combined video and microscope technologies that allow for seamless switching between video and microscope measurement. The patented optical viewer offers high resolution surface inspection, the company notes.

 

Swift Pro Cam is the entry-level video measuring and inspection system, while Elite is an optical measuring microscope providing accurate measurement for difficult objects such as black or transparent plastics. It has a patented optical viewer (head), which can define edges and offers very high resolution and true-colour images. Swift Pro Elite also employs a high stability stand with a precision engineered bearing assembly that optimises X, Y measurements at different plane heights.
