IMNA: Please provide an overview of the company's operations. Yaempan: Thai Switchboard & Metal Work was established in 1992 and has become one of the largest enclosure manufacturers in Thailand. For 16 years, TAMCO has been designing and manufacturing various enclosure solutions, electrical switchboard control panel, communication application and cable rack system. The company's main office is in Samutprakarn. Its target markets are in Thailand, Japan, Burma, Laos, China, and Australia. Thai Switchboard & Metal Work's enclosures are standardized and customized depending on the customers?needs. The enclosure products are colorfully designed, which make them special in comparison to other products. TAMCO exclusively manufactures all these products in Thailand using their own systems and automatic machines. Since the company manufactures all sorts of enclosures, the telecommunications, the electrical and construction, and the food industries depend on our perfect and cost-effective products.

IMNA: Please discuss your new products. What are the special features of these products and how are these different from those available in the market today? Yaempan: On display, the company features colorfully designed aluminum enclosures, stainless enclosures, and electro galvanized enclosures. These products are high-corrosion resistant, which are equipped to meet a broad range of application in water, alkali and strong acid environments. These products are targeting the food and related industries. Aside from the products?excellent durability and high IP rating, the products can be painted with different color- two to three colors in every product. The color painting is not an easy job. This makes our products different from the rest, and many clients love the idea.

IMNA: What is the role played by your company's R&D in developing these new products? Yaempan: Thai Switchboard & Metal Work's R&D plays a very important role in developing the company's products. The office provides information needed to develop these products. Partly, the office is concerned in testing the products, bringing them to all sorts of lab and IP tests. The company listens to its clients. Production starts from the needs of its clients, and TAMCO employs high-skilled manpower to produce these products. The products can not be manufactured by machines alone; the key to their success is its highly-skilled employees. Techniques and trainings come from the company itself.
