ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands – The Macrae Foundation will hold their annual International Symposium on Respiratory Viral Infections on March 14-17, 2013 in the Van der Valk Hotel Rotterdam-Blijdorp chaired by Albert D.M.E. Osterhaus, professor of Virology, Erasmus MC and CSO of Viroclinics Biosciences in Rotterdam, and Menno de Jong, professor, Academic Medical Center, in Amsterdam. Viroclinics will be one of the sponsors of the Symposium.  

Collaborative exchange
“The symposium brings together international thought leaders, performing visionary research and developing current treatments that benefit everyone in the health science field,” said Professor Albert Osterhaus, mentor for over 50 students, authored over 1,000 academic articles, creator of biotech companies like Viroclinics and holder of several editorial positions. “Practical aspects of current treatment will be present and future prospects for respiratory viral infectious diseases through invited talks and poster abstract presentations.”

Viroclinics Biosciences participated in and was one of the sponsors for the Macrae Foundation’s XIV International Symposium on Respiratory Viral Infections which was held on 23-26 March, 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey. This resulted in a great success and brought the company in contact with renowned scientists, developers and investigators from the respiratory disease field.
