Roll handling equipment for clean rooms

PACKLINE Materials Handling offers the roll lifting equipment with extended vertical spindle attachments, available in widths of 3” or 6” for handling longer rolls of film or foil. Constructed from stainless steel 304, aluminum 6082/T6, Delrin Polypropylene, brass, phosphor bronze, this lifting solution is designed for food, beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries.

The extended 3” or 6” spindle attachments allow much longer rolls to be lifted, while the rollers on the attachment mean that the transition from the spindle attachment to the processing line mandrel is much easier and smoother.

The additional length of the attachment ensures that the load centre of the roll is still on the length of the spindle. Geared rotation allows the operator to re-orientate the roll just by turning the hand-wheel. This lifting solution enabled the operator to pick up large rolls, rotate them, and then raise them above head height in order to load the rolls onto a processing line. Most roll sizes can be catered for and therefore each application is designed and manufactured individually to ensure the required spindle attachment is supplied.

The equipment has a maximum capacity of 250kg / 551.16lbs (with appropriate leg length). Its load center is 722mm / 28.43 inches from front of column, while attachment mass is 43kg / 94.80lbs.Its purpose-designed compact framework, positioning of handlebars and addition of an optional remote control device provide improved maneuverability and ease of use for the operator.
