Schaeffler offers high-speed angle measuring system

Schaeffler Group Industrial, with its brands INA and FAG, has developed a bearing-integrated magnetoresistive angle measuring system that is adjusted to highly dynamic and precise direct drive axes for rotary tables in machine tools. The measuring system combines high measuring speeds, angular resolution and measuring accuracy. The YRTSpeed_M measuring system is matched to the YRTSpeed bearing series which is available in bore diameters from 200mm to 460mm. Depending on the bearing size, the limiting speeds of bearing and measuring system range between 560 and 1,160 revolutions per minute and the angular resolution of the measuring system lie between 3,408 and 7,008 increments around the circumference. Thus the system covers a wide spectrum of applications.
