Starlinger's new subsidiary

The company uniROTA Maplan Schwerin GmbH, a new associated member of the Starlinger group of companies, took up operations of Rotations Symmetry Manufacturing on November 7, 2017 in Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. 

 

From now on, 94 proficient employees will be manufacturing screws, godets, rollers, barrels, and other rotatory parts of up to 12 meters in length with highest precision. In part, assets are derived from the insolvency assets of Maplan Machining GmbH. 

 

 

UniROTA Maplan Schwerin GmbH was founded as a wholly-owned German subsidiary of unistrap GmbH, a long-established Austrian company that celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. The foundation of uniROTA Maplan Schwerin GmbH is an important strategic move for the entire group of companies: The portfolio is being extended with a capable supplier to the plastics industry.
