Successful start for TIMTOS Summit

For the first time ever, TIMTOS featured a new platform, the TIMTOS 2017 Summit held at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC). This high-level meeting revolves around Smart Manufacturing, Smart Factory, Automotive Manufacturing Revolution, and Aerospace Supply Chain to comply with the theme and current trend.

Mr. Lin-Wu Kuo, Vice Chairman, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) introduced the industry experts and decision-makers from CISCO, NVIDIA, SICK, SIEMENS, KUKA, Mercedes-Benz and Bosch Rexroth who will  share their technical knowledge and ideas about significant trends and strategies regarding Smart Manufacturing, Smart Factory, Automotive Manufacturing Revolution, and Aerospace Supply Chain.

Alex Ko, Chairman, Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) also gave his opening remarks. He said Taiwan is now focusing on intelligent machines, and aims to grasp the global Industry 4.0 opportunity in order to extend growth.

In addition to keynotes, the summit also includes forums with a variety of panels that enlighten attending professionals on the latest, most innovative trends and opportunities in manufacturing tech and applications.
