Tetra Pak launches TR/G7 filling machine

TETRA PAK has recently unveiled the Tetra Pak® TR/G7, a  low-cost but high-performance filling machine for chilled distribution, which was developed in collaboration with filling machine producer Galdi. The machine is suitable for a range of extended shelf-life products such as white milk, juice, and still drinks in four package volumes: 250ml, 500ml, 750ml, and 1,000ml. It has the capacity for 6,500 gable top packages per hour at lower electricity consumption compared with equivalent machines in the market today.

The Tetra Pak® TR/G7 can be customized to include a cap applicator, waste carton ejection system, or a movable ​oil drop plate for easy cleaning. Taking up less than 19m² of floor space, it is ideal for smaller factories. The compact machine is delivered as a single unit and can be assembled within four days. It requires only one operator for two machines, with a touchscreen panel allowing production monitoring. Access for maintenance has likewise been simplified for lower production downtime during servicing and reduced costs.

Yoshio Akiba, factory manager at ToyotomiMilk​, installed their first Tetra Pak TR/G7 in November 2014.
