Torus Technology Group appoints new Managing Director

Torus Technology Group announced the appointment of Scott Mawby as Managing Director. He will assume responsibility for the organization effective immediately. Scott brings with him 27 years’ experience in engineering including senior management positions across various industrial sectors.

Torus Technology Group has continued to expand over the years and now includes Torus Measurement Systems, Torus Automation and Torus Americas, providing industrial measurement, automation and support solutions to global industries. The new appointment will help to position the business for further development and success in years to come.

Michael Parry reflected on the position held at the company; "from a personal perspective the last 17 years as Managing Director have been the most enjoyable of my career and we have seen the business develop progressively through that time. While I will not be leaving the business completely I will be stepping away from all day to day operations and plan to focus part time on some future developments that may help us to build new opportunities into the future."
