Higher performance and dynamism for Allrounder A Arburg wouldn誸 be Arburg if it weren誸 constantly thinking up new well thought-out ways of expanding the modular Allrounder range. One new addition relates to the movement axes on the largest electric model to date, the Allrounder 570 A with a clamping force of 2,000 kN. Like many extensions and refinements to the Arburg range, this development was largely brought about in response to customer requests. The high injection speeds that can be achieved also yield a higher injection performance, something that is necessary for some important areas of application. The levels of material throughput attainable through the high plasticising capability enable fast cycles to be achieved. This can be advantageous in the field of multi-cavity applications, for example, as well as for the packaging sector or thin-walled applications. On the electric Allrounder A, the hydraulic injection axis is moved by means of more powerful accumulator-driven hydraulics, which have also been used to date for the optionally available hydraulic "Ejector", "Nozzle" and "Core Pull" auxiliary axes. This new injection-side enhancement effectively increases the range of applications of the Allrounder 570 A in the high performance sector. However, the machine still remains energy efficient, thanks to the other electric movement axes, for example on the clamping side. A principle feature of the electric Allrounder A is its cost efficiency. The main axes, with servo-electric drive as standard, allow for simultaneous movements and consequently for short cycle times. The auxiliary axes can be driven electrically or hydraulically, depending on the customer's requirements. A further advantage of these electric machines is their low energy consumption which, depending on the application, can be up to 40 % lower than with a comparable hydraulic machine. Accordingly, in future, the Alldrive machines will carry the new Arburg energy efficiency label "e2" High reproducibility and part quality are guaranteed by the excellent positioning accuracy of the electric movement axes, which also contribute to reduced noise emission levels. Thanks to the accuracy of the axis movements, simultaneous entry into the mold can be performed quickly and precisely in order to optimise cycle times. Arburg Pte Ltd. Makrolon polycarbonate The Makrolon polycarbonate is the best-known brand in the Bayer Material Science portfolio and one of the best-selling in the entire Bayer Group. Products made of Makrolon and its variants are employed in the automotive industry and the electrical and electronics segments. It is frequently used instead of glass for the construction of car roofs, as it is lighter, more shock resistant and offers much more freedom to designers. Besides the principal product, Makrolon, the PCS business unit produces and markets the extremely heat-resistant polycarbonate Apec as well as the Bayblend and Makroblend PC blends. In addition, the business is forward-integrated with regard to PC films and PC sheets. These medium-sized units are managed independently and are also positioned close to the customer in all regions.
