One of the products displayed at Heidenhain (Thailand) Ltd's booth is the digital readouts linear encoders for manually operated machine tools.

For ten years, Heidenhain (Thailand) Ltd supplies linear and angle encoders, rotary encoders, digital readouts, and numerical controls products to manufacturers of machine tools, and of automated machines and systems, in particular for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing in Thailand.

One of the products displayed at Heidenhain (Thailand) booth is the digital readouts linear encoders for manually operated machine tools. Accodring to Tomorn Scriboonruang, service / application executive explained, digital readouts are used in a wide variety of applications. These include machine tools, infeed axes (e.g. on saws and presses), measuring and inspecting equipment, dividing apparatuses, setting tools, and measuring stations for production control. In order to meet the requirements of these applications, many encoders from HEIDENHAIN can be connected to the digital readouts.

The main application for digital readouts with two or more axes is on manually operated machine tools. Whether milling, drilling, boring or turning, the fi eld-proven cycles provide the operator with optimal support. Digital readouts show the current position quickly and clearly, enabling a signifi cant increase in work productivity.

HEIDENHAIN digital readouts have universal application: In addition to standard tasks on milling, drilling and boring machines and lathes, they also offer ideal solutions for many applications on machine tools, measuring and testing equipment, and special machines—in fact all machines where axis slides are traversed manually.
