The debut of Vietnam's first dedicated show for the industry, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2007 in Ho Chi Minh City last year was a resounding success with 115 exhibitors from 20 countries including pavilions from Austria, Czech Republic, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Over 5,700 professional visitors from 35 countries visited the exhibition. 86.8% came from the Southern region of Vietnam where 80% of the plastics processing industry is located.

Plastics and rubber processing machinery, printing machinery, enginering components, auxiliary components, semi-finished and finished products, and raw materials from Taiwan and around the world are expected to bring more guests to this year's International Plastics & Rubber Industry Show, or more popularly known as TaipeiPlas 2008. Scheduled on September 18-22, 2008, the event highlights the importance of Taiwan as a source of machinery and materials for the plastics industry.
