The first event of the EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Series starts 27 April runs until Wednesday, 28 April .

The first event of the EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Series starts tomorrow and runs until Wednesday, 28 April 2021. The new event series provides a meeting place for the global sheet metal working industry to trade, network and learn about latest industry developments. Visitors can virtually meet relevant exhibitors, watch informative product presentations and follow webinars on current industry trends. Similar to a live event there are several options for visitors to get in touch with exhibitors: pre-book meetings with exhibitors or instantly online chat with exhibitors as they browse the virtual platform. The opening times of the online event are from 27 – 28 April 2021, from 8am to 4pm GMT+1. Visitors can participate for free and the platform is open for registration and pre-booking of meetings.

Discover latest technological innovations: Exhibitor Product Showcases live

Visitors can discover the latest innovations, presented by selected EuroBLECH Digital exhibitors. Each exhibitor presentation lasts around 20 minutes and will demonstrate their latest product innovations and technologies. Visitors can meet the presenters live and have their questions answered instantly. Companies presenting their latest developments are Schuler Pressen GmbH with their Schuler 2000 ton Servo Transfer press, Durma with Durma Fiber Laser Technologies/ Durma Fiber Laser Profile and ZOOMFAB, presenting Hidden profits revealed.

 

Virtual meetings with exhibitors

The matchmaking functionality is available to arrange pre-booked meetings, with all meetings taking place from 27 – 28 April live on the EuroBLECH Digital platform. Arranging for a meeting is very easy and intuitive, with no third-party software required. Visitors simply login, fill in their profile with their interests and can then start searching for exhibitors to send out meeting invites or accept received meeting invites from exhibitors.

Join this session and gain inside knowledge into Forming Technology Trends and Developments, in increased efficiency in the press shop due to continuous material and part tracking and efficient material use through an optimized rollforming process, reducing weight whilst maintaining high strength and durability. This session will be joined by Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Schuler Pressen GmbH, Technische Universität Dresden and Welser Profile GmbH. 2:00pm - 3:00pm GMT+1: A Material Focus         

Choosing the right material for your application - Join us for an outlook on material solutions, meeting the demand for improved properties and sustainable products. 09:00am - 10:00am GMT+1: Measurement - Monitoring and Handling             

In this session you will gain valuable insight into measuring, monitoring, and handling processes. Making measuring more objective and comparable we look into the in real time electronic radius measurement system for pipe bending processes, Springback Prediction in Wipe Bending Processes as well as using vibration analysis for the scratch detection on a vehicle safety part. As application for the press shop and with the increasing variety of hot forming parts, we also focus on flexible gripping solutions in hot forming. This session will be joined by Arçelik Global, Coşkunöz Holding, fabforce GmbH & Co. KG, and J. Schmalz GmbH. Join all participants for a Q&A round following the presentations.


2:00pm - 3:00pm GMT+1: Forming Process Innovation II                                         

Join us to explore a new press forming technology, Steel Tube Air Forming process (STAF) for automotive bodies and frames, increasing the performance and decreasing the manufacturing cost. This session also provides you with the results of an EU funded project of revolutionary Ultra-Fast System for Hot-Stamping with Artificial Intelligence. ROVALMA S.A and Sumitomo Heavy Industries, USA Inc. will be joining this session and will be available for a Q&A round.
