Taiwan-Malaysia Information Technology Services Forum, jointly organised by Taiwan’s Institute of Information Industry (III) and Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) on SEP 17th, engaging experts, main executives and successful users to explain in detail.

What do smart factories and smart hospitals harnessing IoT and AI look like? How many benefits do they create for the company and the public? Taiwan-Malaysia Information Technology Services Forum, jointly organised by Taiwan’s Institute of Information Industry (III) and Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) on SEP 17th, engaging experts, main executives and successful users to explain in detail. The event also includes corporate matchmaking activities, facilitating the cooperation of the two countries to expand the markets.

He is involved in corporate strategy and product planning, including creation of IPs and value engineering such as cost down, and miniaturisation of embedded components and creations of software services for verticals such as telecommunications, retail, education, manufacturing, and transportation. 


He played a pivotal role in company’s capital funding and business growth which eventually garnered 3rd party recognitions such as emerging 12th in Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific, featured as Gartner’s Cool Vendor, and is also Frost & Sullivan’s 2018 Asia Pacific IoT Solutions Competitive Strategy Innovation and Leadership. Sim currently holds 16 filed and registered intellectual properties spanning countries such as Malaysia, EU, Australia, New Zealand, and USA.

Dr Helmi Zakariah (MD, MPH) is currently the CEO of AIME and AI4Good, and a member of the WHO/ITU Working Group for AI in Outbreak. 


When the Covid19 pandemic reached Malaysia, he was tasked to lead the Digital Epidemiology portfolio for the Selangor State Task Force for Covid19 – the most densely populated state in Malaysia, where he pioneered the nation’s first e-tracing ecosystem and IRC (Inherent Risk of Contagion) Modelling for outbreak containment. 


He regularly shares his thought in global health platform such as the Chatham House, World Economic Forum, and Commonwealth Digital Health Forum.

Steven Chang has been working in international corporations well known for building automation, infrastructure, and city management industries. Embraced with experiences and knowledge of 20 years from the industry, he aims to publish a new solution for better management, especially in the era of Internet of Things. 


In 2017 to 2019, NADI got lots of awards in the fields of AI, smart city and best startups. In 2020, NADI is invited to join Microsoft startup accelerator team. Under the lead of Steven, NADI has taken a role in practicing smart solutions for different fields in Taiwan-for Smart Building, City and Factory. Based on NADI development in Taiwan, NADI also undertakes cases of smart factory in Thailand and USA and smart telecom in Singapore. In 2020, NADI set up branch office in Malaysia and start to discuss smart solutions of factory project and city project.

Dr. Wen-Chin Lee joined Show Chwan Health Care System in 2006 and is the Chief Medical Information Officer since 2014. He is in charge of the medical informatic corporate strategy, which is involving 8 hospitals in Taiwan. His specialty is clinical process improvement with application of advanced technologies such cloud technology, IoT technology and AI technology etc. He has led the team to have great achievements in hospital management processes reengineering and an integrated remote care service model in the network of hospitals and communities.

Mr. Hsieh is the ASEAN Managing Director of imedtac which is committed to building the next generation of integrated care platforms with the latest technologies, including the Internet of things, and providing quality, comprehensive care and real-time, multi-faceted communications. He received his MSc. degree in biomedical engineering at National Yang Ming University. He is in charge of building connection and developing collaboration opportunities in the SEA region and the rest of the world and focused on integrating technology into medical services.
