Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH will be in Hall 10.1, booth B050 from 30.01. - 02.02.2022.


Thanks to their Product Innovation Center based at the WDS headquater in Rengsdorf/Germany, WDS is today a solution partner providing all services to transform a product idea into a successful product launch. Most projects start at the Product Innovation Center where the WDS team of food scientists tests new product concepts using the WDS lab equipment.

Globally, WDS is the only machinery manufacturer, who has been extremely successful in building molding plants for jellies and chocolates for decades. In addition to an innovative depositor that enables product development and innovative depositing processes, one can look forward to a modern generation of molding plants for gums and jellies as well as choco-lates which set new standards according to efficiency, hygiene, and product treatment: The demand has changed from large capacity lines for a dedicated product towards flexible lines which entertain multiple different products with a medium production capacity.

Another main focus at Prosweets Cologne: the consistent further development of the WDS services und support to become a service partner in confectionery production. WDS stands for excellent After-Sales Services providing life cycle care support, upgrades and retrofits of existing lines with new technologies.

Jellies, Fondant, Toffee

For most customers, WDS Mogul lines for the production of jellies, fondant and toffee are the first choice.

WDS Starch Mogul plants

WDS is experienced in the production of jelly and gum (on pectin basis, gum arabic, gelatine, agar-agar, carrageen), as well as liquorice, fondant, cream, marshmallow foam and similar masses. A core expertise is the depositing of centre-filled products with e.g. a fruit paste filling. 

With the Mogul Type 660 WDS more than ever has focused on standardization as well as consistent modular design.The result is a highly efficient, long-lasting quality machine, which nevertheless can be offered cost-effectively due to its construction and design features.

Starchless plants

For a couple of years now starchless production technology has been used very successfully for the manufacturing of toffees, fondant and pectin jellies.

Referring to the rapidly growing market for OTC gums and jellies with its high demands for hygienic production plants WDS has developed a new direction regarding the molding processes.

While a few years ago silicone technology with all its limits was clearly favored, a change towards polycarbonate molds allowed the development of a completely new, modern, clean and highly efficient plant technology for fruit gum manufacturing, which has its roots in the molding of confection-eries and chocolates.


sweetOTC

OTC sweets are innovative products with health-promoting and biologically effective properties due to the addition of different ingredients. The market for this is relatively young and therefore offers manufacturers a wide range of opportunities and enormous growth potential.

As specialist for moulding systems, WDS is your high-performance partner for different areas of applications and services in the entire spectrum of deposited OTC and cannabis sweets. The specialists of sweetOTC adopt a holistic approach and offer their customers not only the complete development of new and individual OTC confectionery and supplements but also the corresponding matching production processes with the appropriate machines and components.


Chocolate

WDS serves small to large sized businesses with capacities from 200 kg/h to 7000 kg/h. 

The ConfecECO is the start-up line for the production of plain, center-filled bars, pralines and masses with inclusions – as mentioned above also suitable for jellies.

The ConfecPRO is a chocolate production plant for confectionery manufacturers who want to target a medium to high output quantity. Its modular design together with the decentralized electrical control ensures an easy future growth-oriented expansion at small expenditures.

ConfecVARIO 

With its new, innovative mould transport, the WDS ConfecVARIO machine sets standards in terms of flexibility and hygiene in the production of choco-late confectionery products. Workstations and transport no longer have to be completely synchronized, each mould can be moved individually and processes can also run in parallel.

Also flexible with subsequent changes to the whole plant, the WDS trade fair team would like to introduce interested customers at ProSweets all possibilities that open up here.

Like other WDS system types, the ConfecVARIO follows the EasyClean cleaning concept. In addition to the use of stainless steel and rustproof materials, it is first of all the thought-out design, the functionality and accessibility of the individual components that guarantee fast cleaning with highest quality and shortest possible set-up times.

Added to this are the advantages of the new drive system, since the drive units and guides are now significantly better to clean than conventional drives.

LifeCycleCare - that´s the new service concept of WDS. Ultimately, this is nothing less than the promise to stand by the customers for the entire lifetime of the machine - as digitalized as possible.
