Thailand's largest Manufacturing Expo which includes InterPlas Thailand 2011 is back again and positioned to be bigger and better than ever. Scheduled on 23 – 26 June 2011, the show is expected to bring in more than 38,000 visitors and over 1,500 exhibitors to its venue at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand.
This giant industrial event brings under one roof several well-visited exhibitions serving specific sectors; namely plastics and rubber (InterPlas Thailand), mould and die (InterMold Thailand), automotive parts (Automotive Manufacturing), and industrial automation and assembly technologies (Assembly Technology). Exhibitors are expected to come from over 30 countries around the world.
Always cutting edge, Interplas Thailand features the latest technologies from 370 leading exhibitors. The expo will also host a large variety of "how-to" conferences, industry seminars and activities. Participants will be able to study new manufacturing trends, new business ideas, and share industry knowledge with one another. Composites Thailand 2011, a co-located show with the Interplas will showcase the most innovative composites manufacturing machinery and technologies for all industrialists to acquire these technologies to further increase their productivity and profits . In line with this, the Composites Showcase is expected to present a variety of composites products that are displayed so the industrialists can explore new industrial potential and opportunity from this light but durable material.
A special feature this year is the "India Engineering Exhibition (INDEE)." EEPC India expects to bring not only 150 exhibitors in engineering products largely from the automotive industry, but also including machine tools as well as forging and casting products from India. This is the only Indian government sponsored exhibition in ASEAN this year. " Thailand is a gateway to ASEAN, and is abundant with investment facilities : required infrastructure, skilled labors, similar traditions to India and competitive free trade agreements. Therefore, India's investments will make a big move here in Thailand, which India perceives not as a distribution channel but the production hub of ASEAN ," said Mr. Bhaskar Sarkar, Addl. Executive Director & Secretary of EEPC INDIA.

 China companies infuse huge investments
Realising the vast opportunities, Chinese leading technology providers gathered for the China Pavilion , a special zone of Inter Plas Thailand 2011, to demonstrate live performance of the most innovative plastics and rubber manufacturing machinery and provide many business solutions for all visitors to capitalise this upcoming investment opportunity from China. This year, Thailand is expected to receive THB 30 – 40 billion worth of investment from China, with emphasis on rubber process, automobile tyres, and auto parts industries.
Mr. Yu Yong , Director of the Commercial Department of Anhui Province, China's sixth largest automotive production site, recently led 40 companies to explore business opportunities in Thailand, with great interest to invest in automotive and parts, agricultural and food processing, as well as pharmaceutical products and medical equipments manufacturing sectors.
