Latest cutting-edge processing solutions highlighted

Since its inception three years ago, TIPREX has exceed all exceptions and positioned itself as one of the premier "not to be missed" trade shows for the plastics and rubber industry.  Uniting under the theme "Imagine a World without Plastics & Rubber, the Most Innovate Materials of the 21st Century",  this four-day event took place in Thailand at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 31 August to 03 September 2011.

TIPREX 2011 featured the latest cutting-edge processing solutions, technologies and products for the plastic and rubber industries for the ASEAN  markets. TIPREX takes pride in attracting key players in relevant markets.  Attendance increased by 30% over their show in 2009; and this year the event hosted 215 exhibitors and drew in 10,500 visitors from 20 countries around the world. TIPREX 2011 is a collaboration between the Thai Plastic Industries  Association, The Federation of Thai Industries - Plastic Industry Club and Messe Duesseldorf Asia. Although this is only TIPREX’s second edition in Bangkok, it proved to be a successful and dynamic platform for international suppliers to maximize their opportunities for growth, to make global connections and to extend their reach into the lucrative growth markets in Asia.

TIPREX 2011 also featured seminars and conferences on various topics from plastic and rubber technology to the elastomers market, and international pavilions from Singapore and Taiwan, as well as India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam to name a few. The exhibition was well represented with   a diversity of visitors from both the public and private sectors and included an exciting line-up of key exhibitors where companies presented
innovative products and technologies alongside live demonstrations. Messe Düsseldorf Asia’s Managing Director, Mr. Gernot Ringling stated that "TIPREX   2011 has exceeded expectations, not only in the number of exhibitors  but in the very strong visitor turnout, particularly from overseas, which is  certainly a bonus for a local exhibition like TIPREX."

On the heels of such success, plans are already underway for the next big event and Messe Dusseldorf Asia has announced that TIPREX 2013 will take place in the spring at BITEC in Bangkok. Regional sales manager from Krauss Maffei Technologies GmbH, Mr. Christian Veser, echoed the sentiments of many  participants by stating "We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the  crowd and the exhibition, and are confident we will be back in 2013."
