Lee Kum Kee Group chairman Lee Man Tat receives ‘The 1st Outstanding CSR Entrepreneur Award’

HONG KONG -- Lee Kum Kee Group chairman Mr. Lee Man Tat received "The 1st Outstanding CSR Entrepreneur Award" organised by The Mirror Magazine for his significant contribution to the society at a Presentation Ceremony held on 17 January at the Hotel ICON. LKK Health Products Group was also presented "The 1st Outstanding CSR Enterprise Award" in recognition of its efforts in corporate social responsibility over the years.

The Mirror publisher, Dr. Xu Xin Ying said at the Award Presentation Ceremony, "By organising this activity, we hope we can further promote the concept of CSR and create a good atmosphere that encourages entrepreneurs and enterprises to fulfill their corporate social responsibility."

In presenting the Awards, Stephen Lam Sui Lung, chief secretary for Administration of Hong Kong SAR, said, "Enterprises can always find new ways in marketing and promotion. In the areas of employee care and contribution to society, enterprises should also take the initiative in exploring more innovative means."

Lee Man Tat was delighted at the award and grateful to The Mirror Magazine for conferring the honour on him.

Lee Kum Kee has been upholding the core values of "Si Li Ji Ren" (Considering other's interests) over the years. Through sustained efforts spanning three centuries and four generations, the Group has gained remarkable achievements. As the Group keeps innovating and moves on, it will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and commitment to serve the community and benefit the society.

The company said it views corporate social responsibility not only in its relationship with different stakeholders such as customers, partners, employees, but also in areas of sustainable development of the society, environment and resources, as well as its commitment to the community. When enterprises consider their own development needs, they should contribute to social harmony as well.

Lee Kum Kee will continue to uphold the missions of "Promoting Chinese Cuisines Worldwide" and "Advocating the Premium Chinese Health Regime". It will further fulfill its corporate social responsibility and make greater contributions to the motherland and the harmonious development of the society.
