Precise cold-glue labelers

THERE are many advantages to using cold-glue labelers from Krones. The Starmatic labelers attach labels to any kind of packaging material like plastic bottles, jars, and even containers with special shapes. They can attach body and shoulder labels, and back and neck-around labels.

Precision is among the selling points of Krones’ labelers, which can attach labels to within a millimeter. This is possible since the containers are held in place exactly in the machine carousel.

The labelers also use less glue, as a result of the combination of steel glue roller and rubber coated gluing pallets together with a well-designed mechanism for adjusting the thickness of the glue film.

The different versions of the cold glue labelers cover all requirements for precision labelling in the range from low to maximum output.

The labelers are also hygienic since drain channels in the table top have been designed to remove all liquids.
