Triple action probiotic for nasty diarrhea

Diarrhea can be a very severe condition, especially in geographic areas such as Africa and South Asia, which have the highest prevalence of childhood diarrhea. The condition causes rapid depletion of vital water and salts, which may lead to dehydration.

The World Health Organisation estimates that there are about two billion cases of diarrheal disease globally every year. “Conventional products used in connection with diarrhea normally focus on stopping the diarrhea as fast as possible and in some cases also treating the subsequent dehydration. Our new concept not only reduces the duration of the condition – it also supports recovery from dehydration and helps restore a healthy intestinal flora.”

The all-in-one solution consists of ONE combined stick pack backed by good clinical documentation and stability data. Thirteen clinical studies have documented the effect of LGG? + ORS on the duration of diarrhea.

“With the global launch of our new diarrhea and dehydration concept we are offering our customers an opportunity to put a new product on the shelves. We believe that it is a very convenient product. The probiotic and the ORS ingredients are mixed and packed in one consumer-friendly stick pack, which is easy to open and dissolve in 200 ml of cold water,” she explains.
