Automation on the next level

For more than 25 years, HERMLE AG has been offering innovative automation solutions for all parts spectrum. With the premiere of the RS 2 GEN2 robot system, the premier class of automation at HERMLE is being taken to a new level. A robot system with double hybrid gripper, automatic clamping jaw change, universal die and completely new shelving modules, all adapted to a C 32 5-axis machining centre, also of the 2nd generation, for economical and fully automatic pallet and parts handling.

Keyword 2nd generation. Following the successful market launch of the C 650, C 32 and C 42 models in the GEN2 version in 2024, three further models in the GEN2 version will be available at the in-house exhibition. The C 250 and the C 400 from the Performance Line series, and the C 22 from the High Performance Line. Thus, six of the nine base models are now available in GEN2 version. The
C 12, C 52 and C 62 will also follow as a GEN2 model by EMO in September.

Of course, not only the RS 2 GEN2 robot system, but all HERMLE automation solutions such as the HS flex and HS flex heavy handling systems, the RS 05-2, RS 1 and RS 2 robot systems will be presented in full action in the Technology and Training Centre.

Automation solutions and machining centres of the 2nd generation can be seen at the HERMLE in-house exhibition from 13 to 16 May 2025 in Gosheim daily from 09.00 to 17.00. Other machining centers are equipped live under chip with components that make milling cutters' hearts beat faster. As always, the application technology employees worked together with partner companies to put components from a wide variety of industries and applications into practice. Among other things, the aerospace sector will be represented with various structural and engine components, tool and mould making with several dies, medical technology with an orthosis model, mechanical engineering with a sprocket with a diameter of one metre and model making with a fully functional cuckoo clock. Interesting solutions for other industries will also be presented and a wide variety of technologies such as turning, grinding, slotting and gear cutting will be shown.

As always, the audience can get an idea of the production and assembly of HERMLE products in guided tours or attend interesting daily changing specialist lectures at the same time.

Our subsidiary from the field of additive manufacturing will also be available as an exhibitor with information, tips and tricks, as will our service department. The user school also shows training concepts and gives a deep insight into the world of programming.
