PVDF processing aids for extrusion efficiency

Avient Corporation, an innovator of materials solutions, today announced the availability of Colorant Chromatics™ PVDF Processing Aids, specially formulated to improve the melt processing of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resins.

These high-performance processing aids can enhance production efficiencies during PVDF extrusion. They can reduce or eliminate die build-up for cleaner, more consistent extrusion. They can also minimize defects and prevent melt fracture (sharkskin) to provide a high-quality surface in the final product. Using these specialized PVDF processing aids also increases line speed to boost production efficiency and lower total energy consumption.
