ZEISS supports local manufacturing with first Vietnam quality excellence center

ZEISS, a global leader in precision metrology and quality assurance solutions, has officially inaugurated its first Quality Excellence Center (QEC) in Vietnam, located in the capital city of Hanoi. The new facility becomes the 65th QEC worldwide and marks a strategic milestone in the company's commitment to supporting Southeast Asia’s fast-growing manufacturing sector.

The ZEISS QEC in Hanoi is equipped with cutting-edge metrology and inspection technologies designed to enhance quality control and improve manufacturing efficiency. Offering hands-on technical support, in-person training, and application-specific consulting, the center aims to serve a wide range of industries, including automotive, electronics, aerospace, medical devices, general manufacturing, and additive manufacturing. Its infrastructure supports measurement solutions for components of all sizes, helping local manufacturers meet global quality standards.

The facility is staffed by experienced application engineers who will work directly with customers to develop customised quality assurance strategies. With an emphasis on both innovation and service, ZEISS intends the center to act as a hub for technical collaboration and knowledge-sharing among Vietnamese manufacturers.

The grand opening was attended by senior ZEISS leadership, including Mr. Andreas Pecher, Member of the Executive Board and designated President and CEO of the ZEISS Group. His presence underscores the company’s long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market and to strengthening industrial capabilities across Southeast Asia.

With this investment, ZEISS aims to empower local manufacturers through advanced quality solutions and foster the region’s transition toward higher-value manufacturing.
