Next-gen automation with system 3R’s transformer T3-600

The T3-600 pallet-based automation solution is designed to meet the demands of high-performance automotive manufacturing. With its high payload capacity and compact footprint, the T3-600 is ideal for handling heavy automotive components in machining and assembly environments. From engine parts to structural components, it streamlines pallet transport to and from machines, boosting efficiency across production lines.

The T3-600 needs a smaller footprint versus a 6-axis industrial robot, and thanks to the linear movement in X and with a stroke of 2000 mm. Most of the machines on the market can be supported with pallet sizes from 150x150 mm up to 800x800 mm. By enabling stationary or rail-mounted installation, the T3-600 scales effortlessly: from operating individual machines to linking over 20 machines in a cell. It handles system 3R tooling systems, ranging from the small Macro 54 x 54 mm to Delphin 800x800 mm pallets for big workpieces, and is compatible with various machine tools for milling, grinding, EDM, laser and measuring. Specific pneumatic grippers enable transport of lightweight components like EDM electrodes or milling tools between magazines and machines, enhancing machine autonomy and overall cell efficiency.

 

The solution also supports industry-standard communication protocols, offering a unique blend of power, flexibility, and user-friendliness. As a pallet-based automation solution, the T3-600 suits all manufacturing sectors requiring pallet transport to and from machines. Its high payload capacity and compact design make it ideal for mold- and toolmaking and industries like automotive, aerospace, energy and medicine. The T3-600 and all other 3R robot types/cells can be provided with the software system WorkShopManager and ID. This to ensure workflow and processes in a safe way.

 

The latest generation WSM 5 will be presented at EMO. In hall 11, xxx there will be a T3-600 with WSM 5 supporting a Mill S 800 U short machine. And in hall 12, xxx a T3-600 with WSM 5 on a Yasda Vi50 machine.

 

WSM 5 allows aseamless integration on factory level, and intuitive interface for managing complex and multi-technology workflows. Maximum flexibility guaranteed by simple drag-and-drop priority change by the operator on the Automation control panel.

 

Automated systems eliminate human error and allows keep tracking of each workpiece, resulting in consistent output and reduced downtime.
